Preparation and storage
Drain the package and rinse in a strainer or colander for a couple of minutes. Boil lightly for one minute, then add to the recipe.
Shelf life: 6-10 months refrigerated or 4 months in the pantry. It lasts 2 months past the printed expiration date if refrigerated.
