Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes how ThinSlim Foods collects, uses, and shares consumer health data and how you may exercise your rights. It is separate from our general Privacy Policy. ThinSlim Foods is a retailer, not a healthcare provider.
Consumer health data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, consumer health data may include:
- Products you view, search for, place in your cart, purchase, return, or review when that information may reveal or permit an inference about a health condition, health status, treatment, diagnosis, surgery, dietary need, or wellness interest.
- Answers you give to an optional quiz, survey, or preference question on our website or in one of our pop-ups, including questions about how you eat and which foods interest you. See Quiz and preference answers below.
- Dietary preferences, wellness goals, symptoms, product-use information, or similar information you voluntarily provide in a survey, review, chat, email, phone call, or customer-service request.
- Information about your interaction with our website or services that may be associated with or used to infer a health-related interest.
- Information derived or inferred from the information described above.
We do not require you to provide more consumer health data than is reasonably necessary to place an order or receive the service you request.
Quiz and preference answers
We sometimes ask an optional question in a pop-up or form on our website so that we can send you content and offers that fit your situation. One question asks what you are eating for. The answer choices include “Keto or low carb,” “On a GLP-1,” “After weight loss surgery,” “Diabetes-friendly,” and “Just better bread and pasta.” A second question asks which of our foods interest you.
These questions are optional. You may select “Prefer not to say,” close the pop-up, or leave the question unanswered. You still receive the same offer, the same discount, and the same access to our products and prices.
Some answers, including “On a GLP-1,” “After weight loss surgery,” and “Diabetes-friendly,” may reveal or permit an inference about a health condition, treatment, or dietary need. We treat every answer to these questions as consumer health data under this policy.
We use your answers for one purpose: to decide which recipes, products, and promotions to show or send you. We store them as a tag or attribute on your customer record and, if you subscribe, on your email or text-message marketing profile. We share them with the pop-up, email, and text-message providers that operate those programs for us, and with the other service providers described below when reasonably necessary.
We do not use your answers to set your price or to decide whether to sell you a product. We do not sell them. We do not include them in advertising audiences that we upload to or build with social media or search advertising platforms, and we do not use them for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
You may change or withdraw your answers at any time. Use any contact method under How to exercise your rights and tell us to delete your quiz answers. Deleting your quiz answers does not cancel an email or text-message subscription, and unsubscribing does not by itself delete your answers. Ask for both if you want both.
Sources of consumer health data
We may collect consumer health data directly from you, including through pop-ups, forms, and surveys on our website. We may also collect it automatically from your device or browser when you use our website, and from service providers that help us operate accounts, process orders, send marketing messages, provide customer support, secure our services, and maintain transaction records.
Why we collect and use consumer health data
We collect and use consumer health data as reasonably necessary to provide products or services you request, including to process and fulfill orders, provide customer support, manage returns and accounts, operate and secure our website, prevent fraud, maintain records, and comply with law. We also use the quiz and preference answers you give us to select the content and offers we send you, as described above. We may also use consumer health data for another purpose with your consent when consent is required.
How we share consumer health data
We may share consumer health data when reasonably necessary to provide the products or services you request, with:
- Commerce, payment, hosting, account, and customer-support providers.
- Pop-up, email, and text-message marketing providers that deliver the messages you subscribe to.
- Warehousing, order-fulfillment, shipping, and delivery providers.
- Security, fraud-prevention, information-technology, and analytics providers that support our services.
- Government authorities, courts, professional advisers, or other parties when required or permitted by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction.
The specific third parties may change as our service providers change. You may request a list of third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared your consumer health data by using the contact methods below.
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data for targeted advertising unless we first obtain any consent or authorization required by applicable law. We do not include quiz and preference answers in advertising audiences.
Your consumer health data rights
Subject to applicable law and its exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data and access that data, including a list of third parties and affiliates with whom it has been shared or sold.
- Withdraw consent for our collection or sharing of your consumer health data.
- Request deletion of consumer health data, including from archived or backup systems as required by law.
- Appeal our refusal to act on a request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request when permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent's authority and your identity.
