Add a frozen cold pack to your order so heat sensitive items ship with cooling support. Free on orders over $50.

This is a shipping service, not a food product. Do not open or eat the contents of the pack.

• Cooling window: Cooling support typically lasts 2 to 3 days in transit.
• Know before ordering: The service reduces heat exposure but cannot guarantee a cold, firm, or unmelted arrival.

What you get

Your heat sensitive items are packed with a frozen cold pack inside an insulated wrap or bag. The pack is fully frozen when it leaves our warehouse and thaws over the course of transit, so it will not still be frozen when the box arrives. Cooling support typically lasts 2 to 3 days in transit.

Outside temperature, transit time, and carrier handling all affect how cool the box stays. A cold pack reduces heat exposure. It cannot guarantee that items arrive cold, firm, or unmelted.

How to give your order the best chance

• Order Saturday through Wednesday so the box does not sit in the carrier network over the weekend.
• Choose Next Day or 2-Day shipping in hot weather.
• Arrange for someone to receive the box, or ship it to work or a neighbor, so it does not sit in the sun.
• Orders placed Saturday or Sunday ship on Monday.
• If your order mixes heat sensitive and shelf stable items, consider placing two separate orders so you are not paying for faster shipping on items that do not need it.

When your order arrives

Chocolate and chocolate coated items: refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before opening. Chocolate that softened in transit will usually firm back up.

Bread and baked goods: freeze on arrival and keep frozen until you are ready to use them.
