Serenity Kids is a new business started by Joe Carr and Serenity Heegel that focuses on making paleo friendly baby foods. The couple, who live in Austin, Texas, started discussing their future and having a child together. They noted that many baby foods are made mostly of fruits, which can be higher in sugar than many may believe. They thought of the idea of paleo friendly after finding great success with paleo diets for themselves. A paleo diet focuses on foods that our ancestors ate, primarily meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seafood. They currently offer 3 flavors of pouches for babies and people can purchase them in 6 packs or individually.
