Currently many Americans have be come aware about Inflammation and how to prevent it or reduce it in their bodies. Inflammation is the swelling of cells for shorter recovery time. But this cause other issues in the body such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. NFL quarterback Tom Brady has adapted an anti-inflammatory diet that is catching on. He and his family only eat a diet of 80% vegetable and 20% lean meats and fish. The family has also removed some foods that doctors say are good for inflammation, like mushrooms and tomatoes. Dr. Nicole Belkin says that people only need a 12 week regime to improve inflammation in the body. And that a diet similar to the Mediterranean diet can also improve inflammation. It isn’t as restrictive as the Brady’s diet.
